Finding gratitude in the field of Network Marketing is something I never thought I find myself in. With that said I'm just going to be straight-up and tell you how in love with my life I am! How can I not be, when so many lives have been touch in a positive way. I say, "My cup runneth over", from all of the heartfelt letters, personal notes, emails and even the countless text that come flooding in, three to fours times a week, it has left me feeling overjoyed with a sense of contentment.
Today, I will share a story from my dear friend Karin. She was my hair stylist in Slovakia when we were living at the time. She is a darling, dedicated mother, businesswoman, holistic-green-momma just like me and a lover of the people she is called to serve.
Here is a healing story she sent to me…
“I have to tell you my healing success-story. I had a former coach who is 76-years old, and over a year ago he got a splinter of wood under his thumbnail. Doctors gave him dozens of antibiotics, cremes, all with zero effect. It was dripping wet all that time, looking ugly. I decided to come with this miracle oil– I told him to put oregano and melaleuca essential oil on it twice a day, one drop each directly on it the infected area. Two days after— lots of pusses expelled and it started to heal. Last week (one month after he started using oils) sent me a letter letting me know that his thumb has dried and it seems like it is on the mend!
I was really happy to hear it. No pharmacy, but nature had helped him. This is really amazing and I am more and more convinced of its power. So this is what I wanted to share with you. Hope you are fine and everything is just great for you and your lovely family."
Love,
Karin
You see! What an amazing tool these kooky things can be? I had someone say– “You only like them and promote them because you are doing this as a business. It is not for helping people”.
Hmmm, half true, half very false. I was the biggest naysayer in network marketing and sales. I promise you, I do not like to be sold to, and I do not like 'burn and churn' network-marketing. However, what I have found being with this company is simply this, just because I am a caring and sharing kind of person, does not mean I am inviting you to do this business with me, built solely on the 'foundation' of 'let's just make money'...this is, by far, not my souls purpose.
I have plenty of 'health-passionate' people who want to be educated in the field of Wellness and Essential Oils and in time, have them pass on that knowledge to help others find their passion, within this 'helpful and healthy' industry. In my opinion, when people have a means to better their lives and 'provide-wellness' for their families, friends, and their communities then I am all in.
Being involved with a business that has the 'means and a mission' to help make the world a better place, through healing and giving back to communities, catches my full attention and my respect. I am grateful to be involved with this amazing and wonderful organization, building a team of like-minded, successful people who are trying to make a difference is a gift to see, growing as a team leader alongside them, seeing others succeed on many levels throughout their career-journey is heartwarming and gratifying enough; getting paid is just the frosting on the cake, helping me to keep going and growing.
The other thing I have found about network marketing is the fact that people trust their peers over media blitz and hype. At the end of the day— we are looking to others experiences as advice.
When the local banks, grocery stores, dentist and or chiropractor offices (just to name a few) send me an ad, they are “selling” their products and services to me, their local consumer. I can choose to take it or leave it.
In my line of work, I do not need to “sell myself”. I naturally share when I am asked, “What do you do for this?” “My baby is sick with…. What have you used before?” “I am a food-addict, what can I do to help myself out of this?” Recently, I get a lot of this because of my Breast Cancer Survivor story, “I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Can you teach me more about the eating plan you did, what Integrative Therapies did you use, and how did you handle the stress of this disease?”
Do I shut them out? NO, never, I have been there, done that, and have experienced myself and with others, that I can share naturally, what a blessing, to help others be self-reliant and save money? I love my job and all the people I am blessed to associate with.
It’s super simple to become an everyday essential oil user– promise. Plus, despite arguments, it is cost-effective, works fast and easy to do. I love being the first defense in our home, I truly enjoy receiving loving letters like this one from Karin, and I thrive on helping people emotionally, financially and sometimes— even spiritually.
