European, Business Trips-And The Helpful People You Meet Along The Way!

This trip to Europe has been, well...let's just say, full of surprises. A load of grace, but really not super easy for a calming energy flow, here's why.

Let's start with the frigid weather and flooding that had the New York, JFK International Airport crippled with ice and had, unfortunately, stopping Boston and New Jersey's airflow completely; well the saying goes, "safety first, arrive alive."  I'll take that and find my Zen place while I wait.

Long story short, I was supposed to arrive in Eberdingen, Germany on Saturday the fourteenth of January. Needless to say, JFK was flooding, and we had an ice storm in Massachusetts, Vermont and New York. I had many appointments in Britain from Wednesday to Friday before this. You can imagine my despair and frustration right!

People counting on you, agendas to fulfill, meetings in place and the fact you lose a day entirely when traveling. Montreal is only 2-hrs away from Burlington, Vermont, but the only thing we could get on such short notice was a flight to Connecticut, which is 4-hrs away from our home.

I was to fly through Dublin, then into the UK. All was well, right!  Umm, no not quite, keep reading…

They were kind enough to take my 'supply, hand luggage' and check everything thrift to London. When I arrived, my luggage did not. You can only imagine my exhaustion from everything leading up to this point. A little side note to self…“ breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth” to keep oxygen flowing, everything will work out.

It has been five days and I am now in Germany teaching about these gorgeous essential oils from dōTERRA, but remember when I had mentioned I arrived, but my luggage was MIA. Yes, that's right friends, I am here in Europe about to teach, to hundreds of people and I have little to no product, ugg. The airline company said it may get to my address in Britain 'Monday or Tuesday' but, here's the thing, I arrive on Tuesday for more workshops and still no product.

So, the big point to my story is this. I may have been without, but many gracious people have been magically generous with me. So much kindness, when things are simply a bit nutty, It warms my heart when I experience goodness like that.

What magical generosity have you experienced lately? I would love to hear from you.
